HOUSE RULES
Dear Guests!
We inform you that you are obliged to comply with the house rules detailed below when using the services!
We call your attention to the fact that by paying the fee for the services, purchasing an entry ticket or season pass (using a coupon or voucher) and entering the premises, you accept all points of our house rules and undertake to comply with them.
Failure to familiarize yourself with the house rules does not exempt you from complying with them!
Sóstó - Gyógyfürdők Zrt. does not assume responsibility for damages or accidents resulting from violations of the house rules.
1. The facilities of the Aquarius Experience and Park Spa may only be used at your own risk!
2. An electronic surveillance system operates throughout the spa area, and by paying for the chosen service, the guest acknowledges this fact.
3. Entry to the spa is only possible with a valid ticket or pass. Discounts are only available with the presentation of the appropriate identification entitling you to the discount, which may include a residence card, student ID, pensioner card, or other identification/pass issued by our company. The electronic wristwatch or other wristband given upon purchasing the entry ticket must be worn continuously and used upon entering and exiting all gates, and handed in at the cashiers upon leaving. The right of entry is only valid on the day of purchase and allows for a single entry! A surcharge, as listed in the price list, must be paid for lost or damaged electronic wristwatches. If food or drink is consumed in our catering units, or additional services are used, the cost must be reimbursed by all our guests.
3/1: The receipt or invoice received upon purchasing the entry ticket must be retained until all guests using the tickets corresponding to the receipt have left the spa premises! Employees of Sóstó - Gyógyfürdők Zrt. and members of the security service are entitled to check the validity of the service at any time. During the inspection, you must present the invoice or receipt proving the purchase of the entry ticket.
3/2: Information about current prices, service fees, and opening hours is provided by the price list placed in front of the cashiers. The cash desk closes one hour before the closing time of the Aquarius Experience and Park Spa.
3/3: In justified cases (technical malfunctions, bad weather conditions, extraordinary contamination, etc.), Sóstó-Gyógyfürdők Zrt. may modify the operating hours. Notification is provided by staff and through loudspeakers. In such cases, our guests are not entitled to compensation. In extraordinary cases, the service provider may suspend services or a part thereof, in which case refunds for services already begun are not possible. A reduction in the fee for limited services is not claimable.
4. Currency exchange is not possible at our cashiers!
5. Please indicate your invoice request in advance, as we cannot issue invoices retrospectively!
6. Guests can only use all services and product sales provided within the spa with bank card payment or, when using the e-wristwatch, with deferred payment at the spa's cashiers, with unchanged content and unchanged prices. For e-wristwatch payment, payment can be made in cash, by bank card, or with SZÉP card at the spa's cashiers. By purchasing the entry ticket, the spa guest acknowledges and understands that intermediary services provided on the spa's premises can only be used in the manner described above. More information can be found at www.aquariusspa.hu or on displayed information boards.
7. All items owned by Sóstó - Gyógyfürdők Zrt. must be used properly by every guest! In the event of intentional damage or damage resulting from inappropriate behavior, the right for compensation is reserved by our company.
8. Smoking is prohibited throughout our entire spa! Exceptions are designated smoking areas located outside the premises and 10 meters from entrances.
9. Children under 14 years of age may only enter the spa area accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Children under 14 years of age may use the services, slides, playground equipment, and pools of Sóstó- Gyógyfürdők Zrt. under parental supervision or the supervision and responsibility of a constant adult companion.
9/1: In the event of group activities, education, camps, or any other events organized for children under 18 within the spa area, the organizer assumes full responsibility for the participants within the frame of the organized program and provides adult supervision.
10. The use of medicinal water pools is contraindicated in cases of serious heart and circulatory diseases, incontinence, malignant neoplastic diseases, acute inflammatory conditions, tuberculosis, thrombosis, severe varicose veins, pregnancy, as well as any skin changes, regardless of extent, which do not allow for staying in a public spa for public health reasons. The use of medicinal water pools is also not recommended for children under 14!
11. Open wounds, fever, infectious diseases, as well as the influence of drugs, intoxicants, or alcohol are valid reasons for exclusion from the spa. In such cases, compensation is not provided.
12. The use of medicinal water pools is primarily based on medical advice; in different cases, the recommended stay time is 20 minutes.
13. Sauna usage rules are detailed in the sauna etiquette, readable in the sauna area and changing rooms, as well as on the aquariusspa.hu website. The service is not included in the purchase of an entry ticket, so our guests can request it separately during the purchase or decide to use it after entry, in compliance with the included points.
14. Signs, pictograms, and inscriptions call attention to the proper use of our slides, which must be followed. In the event of accidents resulting from different use, responsibility falls on the accompanying person in the case of children, and on the user in the case of adult guests. Wearing jewelry or a watch is dangerous and prohibited!
15. All bathers must comply with the instructions and guidance of the employees of Sóstó- Gyógyfürdők Zrt., swimming pool attendants, and the security service and asset guards carrying out tasks on behalf of the company.
16. For the adherence to public health and regulatory requirements, the peace and uninterrupted relaxation of our guests, and the prevention of accidents, the following are PROHIBITED within the Aquarius Experience and Park Spa:
a) Bringing animals onto the spa premises. The exception is assistance dogs or watchdogs directed by the security personnel or police.
b) Consuming food and alcoholic beverages in dressing rooms, pool areas, and pools. Exceptions to drink consumption are bars operated within the pools, where only drinks purchased there can be consumed.
c) Walking around in street clothes or shoes in pool and relaxation areas, or bringing in items meant for street use.
d) Entering pools without a thorough shower and foot wash.
e) Non-toilet-trained children swimming without swim diapers. Non-toilet-trained children may not enter any other pools, even with swim diapers designed for this purpose; they may only use pools reserved for children.
f) Unaccompanied/unsupervised pool use by epileptic patients.
g) Polluting pool water, using cleaning products, chemicals, jumping into the water from unauthorized spots, playing with balls, making noise, or entering pools with special incontinence-related health briefs.
h) Bringing fragile or dangerous objects (glass, beer bottles, etc.) into pools, as well as any items that may cause injury.
i) Wearing any attire in pools that does not meet public health, water quality, or safety requirements. Hence, pools can only be used with swimwear designed specifically for swimming, covering the lower body to the knee and the upper body to the shoulder. Exceptions are swimwear that provides UV-protection, possibly covering more of the body, but intended for swimming use. The use of knee-length shorts, short sleeve shirts, denim shorts, shirts, underwear (generally street or everyday wear) is strictly prohibited, and violators will be immediately excluded from spa usage and bathing without compensation!
j) Wearing any footwear in pools. This includes sea shoes, sandals, flip-flops, etc.
k) Those who cannot swim using deepwater pools.
l) Diving into the swimming pool from anywhere other than the starting block.
m) Adults occupying a sitting or lying position in children's pools. Due to hygiene reasons, adults may only stand in children's pools.
n) Behaving in a manner that violates public morals or societal norms. This includes:
1. Making vulgar, common remarks, loudness, shouting
2. Physical assault, intentional harm, intimidation
3. Expression based on racial, ethnic, religious, gender identity
4. Any behavior or verbal expression with sexual content
5. In our co-educational changing rooms, only on designated changing cabins is it allowed to be with an uncovered body
o) Conducting marketing or political activities without prior arrangement throughout the spa.
p) Walking without slippers throughout the spa (except in pool and sauna areas). In case of an accident due to this, responsibility falls on the guest.
q) Using foreign hairdryers, not operated by the spa. We do not assume responsibility for accidents resulting from the use of hairdryers brought in from outside.
r) Using mobile speakers, sound equipment, or listening to music on mobile phones in a way which disturbs or may disturb other guests. Exceptions are those cases where music service occurs in an organized form or is provided by the spa operator/partner (pre-announced events, music service part of the spa's operation order, events organized by the spa, etc.).
Any guest engaging in activities prohibited under point 16 of the house rules will be immediately excluded from using the spa facilities and bathing by Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. without compensation, and must leave the premises immediately upon staff request!
17. In the event of a fire, disaster, evacuation plan, bomb alert, or any extraordinary event, the instructions communicated via loudspeaker and those given by spa employees must be followed immediately and without exception. In case of lightning danger, the outdoor pools must be vacated immediately upon the lifeguard's instruction. No one is allowed to stay in the pools, even at their own risk!
18. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. bans any person who causes panic or engages in activities that offend or shock the community from its operated baths. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. will expel without further action any person who commits a sexual act or uses physical violence from its baths.
19. Pools, pool areas, and corridors must be vacated 15 minutes before closing time! This ensures all guests can leave the spa by closing time.
20. A customer feedback book is available at the cashiers for guests.
21. In case of injuries or sudden illness to guests, a designated area and staff for first aid are provided. Cases must be documented using a designated form or report.
22. We do not take responsibility for valuables, cash, or material items (car keys, mobile phones, bank cards, etc.), except when Guests place their valuables in a lockable safe available as an additional service. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. is only responsible for valuables placed here!
23. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from the loss or disappearance of items left unattended (including those left in pool areas, spa premises, corridors, changing rooms, or on coat hangers).
24. Found items are recorded and handed in at the cashiers.
